DESCRIPTION
This humidifier is designed to deliver high humidity output when used on warm-air (fossil fuel) heating systems. Fresh water flows through the solenoid valve and is sprayed into the furnace duct by a high precision spray nozzle. The warm moist air is then carried throughout the home by the heating system. Various nozzle sizes allow for proper, accurate sizing of the humidifier. Units shipped with 0.50 gph nozzle. Additional nozzles are available to cover requirements thru 1.50 gph. Nozzle output capacity rated at 40 psi standard. The units compact size aids in ease of installation on almost any furnace plenum. Catalog number 5H516 is designed for fossil fuel furnaces. Catalog number 4G7304 is designed for heat pumps and low temperature heating systems. Installation package includes universal humidistat, self-piercing saddle valve, mounting template and mounting hardware. Electrical rating: 24 volts.
