Especially designed for convenient installation in garages, attics or crawl space installations in homes, stores, service stations factories and warehouses. No furnace or utility room needed. Hanger channels, filters and 2-stage pump are optional. Two stage firing is available on 700,000 and 1,000,000 BTU models.

Why do combustion tests?

Customer Service...

Ensure gas and oil fired furnace equipment is functioning at peak performance.  Save customers service costs.  Competitiors may not test and this gives you a decided advantage.  Documentation of the results can be presented to the end user, and records maintianed.

Safety...

A furnace that is not set up correctly can produce hazardous levels of CO or NOx.  ( Furnaces are not Plug-and-Play equipment) The only way to measure the potentially dangerous levels of these gases, is with test instrumentation.  CO at 99 ppm is hazardous.  No one can "eyeball" 200 PPM of CO, much less 99 PPM.

Liability...

"Eyeballing or guessing" system operation is a risky business in todays society.  Any time a CO incident occurs, some of the first questions asked are: How was the suspect  system serviced and tested ?  Who serviced that equipment?  What where the results? Todays instruments have print capability to document set up, test and operational results.
