What does SEER mean?

While you are browsing Ingram's Water and Air website looking for a new air conditioner, you may see the term SEER, which stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio.

SEER is the efficiency rating of air conditioners, as determined by the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute, also known as the AHRI. As you are looking at air conditioners with various SEER ratings, keep in mind that higher SEER rated systems may be more expensive up front, but the monthly energy savings is higher.

More efficient systems can produce incredible energy savings. The power consumption can be reduced by up to 30% when a system is upgraded from a lower SEER rating to a higher SEER.

This could result in savings up to $300 per year. So call us at Ingram's Water and Air today at 1-855-INGRAMS so that we can help you decide which SEER rating is best for your home and your budget.
