The Pentek WS-20BB Water Softening Filter provides softened water in a convenient cartridge-style design. These softening cartridges utilize a bed of sodium form cation resin beads to reduce hardness and scale deposits. Convenient and space-saving design means that softened water can be provided easily and cost effectively at the exact point of need. The Pentek WS-20BB Water Softening Filter is designed for drinking water applications. Do not use where the water is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Dimensions of the device are 20" x 4-1/2" (508 mm x 114 mm) and the Flow Rate is 2.00 gpm (8.5 L/min). Its Capacity is 4,500 (Grains as CaCO3) and the Temperature Rating is 100°F (37.8°C). The Filter Media is made of Standard Softener Resin; and the End Caps, Pre-Filter, and Post-Filter are Polypropylene. The Gasket is constructed using Buna-N. The Pentek WS-20BB Water Softening Filter fits in housings for 20 Inch Big Blue Heavy-Duty water filters. It also fits Culligan / USFilter / Ametek / Pentek 20" Big Blue Whole House Water Filter System.
