The Pentek 20-ST Whole House Water Filter System is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial water filter applications. It reduces dirt, sand, silt, sediment, rust particles, and scale particles. It has pressure Release Button for fast release of the whole house water filter pressure. The device extends the life of washing machines, water heaters, and other household appliances. Leaking and clogging is prevented by the dynamically sealing, self-cleaning O-Ring. For increased strength, it comes with thick walls. This drinking water filters produce healthier, better-tasting drinking water. The Valve-in-Head involves a simple half-turn of the shut-off valve in the cap to shut off the water supply when changing a water filter. No need to purchase additional shut-off valves. The Valve-in-Head (VIH) patented technology allows for easy water filter cartridge replacement. Two #20 Standard housings can be connected with a pipe nipple or pipe union. There are several pipe nipples available that can be used to connect two #20 Standard Housings. NP-34 - Use this pipe nipple to connect two #20 Housings with 3/4" Inlet/Outlets. The Pentek 20-ST Whole House Water Filter System is very easy to install. It has 3/4" inlet/outlet for easy installation on 1/2" or 3/4" main cold water line. Water filter cartridge life depends on the water filter cartridge purchased and the water quality. Dimensions of the device are 22-5/8" x 5-1/8" (575 mm x 130 mm) and the Maximum Temperature is 125°F (51.7°C). The Initial ?P (psi) @ Flow Rate (gpm) is 4 psi @ 8 gpm (0.3 bar @ 30 L/min) and the Maximum Pressure is 125 psi (8.62 bar). The Housing is made of Polypropylene (Blue) and the Cap is Reinforced Polypropylene. The O-Ring is manufactured from Buna-N and the Valve Parts are Delrin.
