Amana APH15H 15 SEER Packaged Heat Pump

With the Amana APH15H Packaged Heat Pump you can enjoy up to 15 SEER performance for your home or small business. What does 15 SEER mean? Heat pumps and air conditioners are rated for cooling ability according to their Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, or SEER. A 15 SEER is a mark above the U.S. Federal regulated minimum and a proven energy saver.

That means you are going to get solid cooling power out of this packaged heat pump without having to use as much energy as you might with a traditional air conditioner.

Everything you need for your heating and cooling is housed within this packaged heat pump that is itself protected by a heavy gauge, galvanized steel cabinet. UV-resistant powder-paint covers that, which makes rooftop or ground-level application a no-risk situation since you don’t have to worry about debilitating weather conditions or damaging sun hurting your new unit.  Of course, if something does go wrong the packaged heat pump is protected by a 10 Year Parts Limited Warranty.

The warranty isn’t the only great component of this packaged heat pump. It also comes standard with an energy efficient compressor with internal relief valve, uses R-410A ozone-friendly refrigerant, blower motor and permanently lubricated condenser fan motor.

The coil is a copper tube and aluminium fin design for maximum corrosion protection and heat conduction. The condenser coil itself is also protected by a louvered guard. Electric heat kits are also available for supplemental heating if you live in an area of the country with particularly nasty winters.
