In the case of GE FXWTC Interchangeable Filter, use the less expensive C-1 Water Filter. The C-1 filter is the same 5 micron Powdered-Activated Carbon Water Filter. Dimensions of the GE FXWTC Carbon Water Filter are 9.75" L x 2.5" W. It has a Micron Rating (Nominal) of 5. Replace the GE FXWTC water filter cartridge every 3 months or when flow rate is significantly decreased. The time between filter changes will also depend on your water quality.
