GE FXWPC Sediment Water Filter (2-Pack)

The GE SmartWater FXWPC water filter (2-Pack) comes with a pleated paper construction. It reduces sand, sediment and rust. The GE FXWPC water filter cartridges fit in whole house water filter systems and reverse osmosis systems that use 10" x 2.5" water filters. It fits GE, Culligan, American Plumber, Pentek and many big blue whole house housings. Dimensions of the device are 9.75" L x 2.5" W and the Micron Rating (Nominal) is 30. Use the GE SmartWater WS03X10038 O-Ring in GE Housings for GE FXWPC water filters. To unscrew GE Housings for the GE FXWPC water filters, use the GE SmartWater WX5X140 Wrench. Use the GE SmartWater Silicone Grease to lubricate your GE O-Ring. The GE FXWPC Sediment Water Filter is very easy to install in whole house systems. It fits most major brands of household water filter systems for 10" x 2.5" filters including the Whirlpool WHCF-WHWC. It fits the systems such as GE GXWH01C Water Filter System; GE GXWH04F Water Filter System; GE GXWH08C Water Filter System; and GE GXWH20F Water Filter System. In the case of GE FXWPC Interchangeable Filter, use the less expensive S1 Water Filter. The S1 filter is the same sediment filter with a 20 micron rating. Replace the GE FXWPC sediment water filter cartridge every 3 months, 16,000 gallons of water, or when flow rate is significantly decreased. The time between filter changes will also depend on your water quality.
