The GE SmartWater FXHTC water filter cartridges fit in whole house water filter systems for 10" x 4.5" water filters. Replace the GE SmartWater FXHTC carbon water filter cartridge every 3 months or 5,000 gallons. The time between filter changes will also depend on your water quality. The General Electric FXHTC fits most major brands of household water filter systems for 10" x 4.5" filters including the Whirlpool WHCF-WHPLBB. It is very easy to install in whole house systems.
