Everpure 7-DM Demineralizing Water Filter Cartridge EV9607-01 is designed for water with high mineral content. The Everpure 7-DM EV960701 replacement water filter cartridge removes total dissolved solids (TDS) by using a mix of cation and anion resin. It reduces limescale build-up that can cause excessive machine downtime and increased maintenance costs. Scale reduction also reduces energy costs. The Everpure 7-DM Steamer Demineralization Cartridge is especially useful on low capacity flash steamers and warmers that are not emptied each day. The Everpure 7-DM's sanitary cartridge replacement is simple, quick and clean. Internal filter parts are never exposed to handling or contamination. Overall Dimensions of the Everpure 7-DM Water Filter Cartridge EV9607-01 is 20.75” H x 3.25” Diameter. Its Maximum Flow Rate is 0.5 GPM and the Temperature Range is 35 - 100ºF (2 - 38ºC). Flush the Everpure 7DM cartridge by running water through the filter for 3 minutes at full flow. Always flush the filter cartridge at time of installation and cartridge change. Install vertically with cartridge hanging down. Allow 2 1/2” clearance below the cartridge for easy cartridge replacement. Use plastic tubing after DM cartridge. Change the filter cartridges on a regular 6 month preventative maintenance program. Change cartridges when capacity is reached or when pressure falls below 10 psi. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. To determine Everpure 7-DM cartridge life, divide total capacity of cartridge (1,600 grains or 103,000 mg) by the TDS in grains per gallon (gpg) or milligrams per liter (ppm), respectively.
