The H-Series proprietary thin-film nanofiltration membrane elements are characterized by an approximate molecular weight cut-off of 150-300 daltons for uncharged organic molecules. Divalent and multivalent ion rejection is dependent upon feed concentration and composition. GE HL4021TF Nanofiltration Elements are used for water softening, color removal, and reduction of THM potential. GE Osmonics Desal HL4021TF Nano Filtration elements feature a tape outerwrap and 28 mil feed spacers and is designed with male end connections. The capacity of the GE Desal HL4021TF Nano Filtration RO Element is 1280 Gallons Per Day. Its dimensions are 4" W X 21" L and the maximum pressure is 450 psig. The device’s Typical Operating Flux is 12-20 GFD (20-35) L.H-1.M-2 and the Typical Operating Pressure is 100 psig. It has a Thin Film Membrane and the Maximum Temperature is 122°F (50°C). Operating pH range is 3.0 - 9.0 and the Cleaning pH range is 1.0 - 10.0. Chlorine Tolerance is less than 0.1ppm and its Average Rejection is 98%.
