It enables Dirt and Rust Reduction together with Medium sediment removal. The rigid and sturdy construction of the Aqua-Pure cartridges helps it to withstand stressful conditions like high pressure drop and water hammer. Manufactured from FDA (CFR 21) Compliant Materials and an exclusive process by means of pure white cellulose fibers, the cartridge of this water filter has rust resistant. AquaPure AP802, AP802-1.5 and AP802-1.5-C Whole House System are the housings for the CUNO AquaPure AP811-2 Water Filter. The life expectancy of the cartridge is 3-4 months and can be easily changed or replaced. First turn off the incoming water and then bleed pressure from the unit by depressing the red button on top of unit. Then remove housing by wrench up sliding toward head and then turn left to unscrew. After wiping the housing clean, place the new cartridge, then lubricate o-ring and screw housing into head. Finally, turn on the water back.
