Additionally, the cartridge of this model consists of a Pre & Post Filter having Activated Granular Carbon for optimum Effectiveness. Most importantly, you should use Cold Water Only. This model of Cuno Water Filter is compatible with AquaPure AP500 System and AquaPure AP510 System. It is very simple to replace the CUNO Aqua-Pure AP517 Replacement Water Filter Cartridge. After turning the cartridge to "Off" position, Pull down the cartridge and dispose it. Now place the new cartridge into head that aligns the notch under "off” and turn it to the “on" position. Finally, Run water until it appears clear.
