DESCRIPTION
These new PVG series cast iron boilers have capacities from 60,000 Btu’s to 238,000 Btu’s with efficiencies up to 85% AFUE. The power vent feature allows installations almost anywhere with the use of AL-29-4C stainless steel vent piping, without the requirement of a conventional chimney. Vent connector and vent terminal shipped with each boiler. The PVG series are energy star rated and come shipped with circulator, T/P gauge, pressure relief valve & drain valve. Additional features include stainless steel burners, step-opening gas valve with 100% safety shutoff, electronic ignition, induced draft blower, Honeywell R8285D transformer/relay control, flame roll out switch, differential pressure switch & Honeywell L4080D high limit control. Boilers are field convertible to LP gas. Supply and return connections are 1-1/4" NPT.

PVG series boilers is simple to install, and require very little service and maintenance –especially compared to higher-efficiency condensing boilers. This can save homeowners hundreds of dollars in up-front installation costs, as well as several hundred dollars a year in maintenance and tune-up’s. Factoring in installation, annual service, and fuel usage - over time the operating costs of the PVG may be well below those of condensing boilers. While low temperature radiant heat systems are becoming more popular in newer buildings, many still utilize baseboard heat, convectors, air handlers. & indirect water heaters - which generally require higher water temperatures. Cast iron boilers are the best choice for these applications. The PVG deliver the winning combination of efficiency and durability in high-temp heating applications.
